About Us

Transformation Community Church began with a God-given vision: Building a Biblical Community, One Family at a Time.

In September 2014, Pastor Ryan Fray sensed the Lord calling him to plant a biblical, life-giving church where people could encounter God, grow in their faith, build genuine relationships, and find a place to belong.

The vision was to establish a church that would be Gospel-Centred, Spirit-Led, and Mission- Focused a community marked by relevant biblical teaching, heartfelt worship, authentic relationships, fervent prayer, and a passion for reaching people with the love of Jesus.

For the next year and a half, Pastor Ryan and his wife, Rachelle, prayed and sought God for His timing and direction. They were joined by Pastor Carlyle Murrell-Cole and Pastor Penny Murrell-Cole, who became essential members of the church’s establishing team. Together, the four of them prayed, planned, served, and worked faithfully to bring the vision to life.

With their leadership and the support of 35 committed people, Transformation Community Church officially launched in Winnipeg on September 11, 2016.

Since then, God has continued to transform lives, restore families, develop leaders, and expand the ministry’s reach. Today, Pastor Ryan, Rachelle, Pastor Carlyle, Pastor Penny, and the entire leadership team remain committed to serving Winnipeg, strengthening families, equipping the next generation, and planting life-giving churches wherever God leads.

Our heart remains simple and our mission unwavering: Love God, love people, build community, and advance the mission of Jesus one family at a time.
